I am trying to maximize happiness in my life and I want the same for you. I want to help you find a sustainable path that creates and body and life you want to have, now and for the rest of your life! Personally, I want to be healthy and functional for as long as possible. My lifestyle prioritizes simple, but strategic habits designed to have exponential results when applied together consistently. Minimally, the life I want to live, regardless of my age, includes a functional and fit-looking body (a side-benefit of a healthy lifestyle), vacations, hikes, playing around with friends and kids, and the ability to complete every-day tasks like carry groceries up and down stairs, pick up a bag of dog food off the floor, get myself off the floor, and put luggage in an overhead bin, etc. Along with my short-term specific goals like running in mud runs, playing sand volleyball, and just generally being active, ability in these essential, real-world functional tasks are a necessity to enjoy life for as long as possible. When approached correctly, there is no compromise that needs to take place to get results while also ensuring that all your efforts lay a foundation for longevity, happiness, and sustainable results.

Based on the latest in neuroscience, psychology, nutrition, fitness, and health and wellness, with a holistic approach, I’ll not only provide you the information you need, but a perspective and strategies that makes upgrades to your life and diet manageable and sustainable long-term. The secret is not at all about deprivation and always leaning on willpower, it’s about implementing strategies that make the choices you want yourself to make the easy choices.

My #1 priority in my career is to have a profound and positive impact on as many people as possible. What truly resonates with me is going all-in coaching a client to lay a foundation that they can lean on for the rest of their lives. Having an incredibly and healthy body is not as difficult as most people think. Through health and wellness meetings across 4 weeks with optional personal training, at-home workout plans, mobility, and/or group classes, you and I will figure out what works best for you, make sure all your lifestyle efforts are having the biggest impact possible, and we’ll put a sustainable plan together to make sure your successes from the program are long lasting. I want to go all in with you, save you years of difficulty and frustration I went through, and get you on the right path as soon as possible, so every day can continue to improve your health and wellness. I want our 4 weeks together in this program to have a profound impact on the rest of your life.

 

4-Week All-In Health and Wellness Lifestyle Program

The 4-week MOMENTUM program has additional options for personal training, mobility sessions, custom at-home workouts, or incorporating you current exercise practices and even an online course option. Once I get a sense of your goals, we’ll figure out what combination of coaching fits what you’re looking for. Regardless of how we attack the fitness side of things, through the MOMENTUM All-in Health and Wellness Lifestyle Program journal, articles, and videos, along with the in-person meetings and emails and texts, this program is all about providing you actionable, realistic implementation of tools and strategies that with not only get results, but actually work to make you life not only better, but easier! If you’re serious about taking control, you’re just 4 weeks away.

A weight-loss program does not have to be a grind. I will be there with you every step of the way to make the reality of change as enjoyable as possible. I love working 1-on-1 with people and can’t wait to get started with you!

I struggled with nutrition and diet a lot in my earlier life and understand how difficult and overwhelming the though of taking on nutrition changes can seem. There are many myths, misconceptions, and other lifestyle factors that make the nutrition side of things way harder than it needs to be. When the plan is easy, simple, effective, includes amazingly good tasting foods, and makes you feel great, the plan is easy to stick with. Everybody is different and we will work together to figure out what works best for you.

If you have never worked out before, dealing with a nagging injury, or an already advanced athlete, I will meet you at your level and we will work together to push your fitness and body to be what you want it to be. Your workouts will be customized exactly for you and your goals.

F.A.Q.s

It seems like a lot to take on at once, is it OK to just start with personal training or the nutrition & lifestyle program?
Yes, it is OK to start with just one or the other, but what most people don’t believe is that method is actually harder. I take pride in doing things the most effective way. We dig into it during the program, but there are many inter-related aspects of lifestyle that we will leverage that work to make other things easier and more impactful. For one example of how workouts and nutrition work together, managing blood sugar and re-sensitizing ourselves to insulin is extremely important for long-term health and helping people get the results they are looking for. After a workout, your body is more sensitive to insulin, so your pancreas does not need to secrete as much for your cells to respond appropriately. Over time, this aspect of meals after your workout sum to have an incredible impact on your results. For another example that goes the other direction, your blood sugar and inflammation levels are highly correlated to your energy and motivation, so trying to get yourself motivated and energized to work out is much harder on a crappy, processed food diet with tons of refined carbohydrates. Each additional aspect we address may come with a new habit, but it also comes with a snowballing effect of supporting all the other habits. When done together it takes less willpower.

Where do these sessions take place?
5206 Eilers Ave., Austin, TX 78751 at MovementLink or at your home. At my gym, we will have a private training/meeting room and a full gym at our disposal. I also do sessions virtually via Zoom for those not in Austin, TX and occasionally will take on clients at their home or a local park depending on the situation.

What does a typical weekly schedule look like?
We will meet 4-5 days a week on a schedule that works best for you.

  • 3x/wk personal training sessions. If you’d like to workout more than that, depending on your goals, we can add personal training sessions or at-home workouts to your plan.

  • 1x/wk nutrition and lifestyle meeting.

  • 1x/wk (Optional) movement and mobility session. Although we will also be working on your movement and mobility in the personal training sessions, sessions dedicated specifically for movement and mobility sessions can really help boost recovery and make good progress on any range-of-motion issues we find.

This is a big commitment and I’m on the fence.
Obviously not a questions, but a common response. I understand this is a big commitment and there will always be excuses of why this isn’t a good time, but you and your life deserve it. In just 4 weeks we’ll work together to lay a foundation that will shift who you are at the end of the program and 20 years from now. Every day boosts the next day the earlier you make upgrades to your life, the more time the habits have to do their magic. 4 Weeks to change your life.
