Coach Kyle’s 3-week Snatch Class will help you refine your technique through progressions that take advantage of fundamental movement patterns and skills you already posses. Unless you are a pure Olympic weightlifter who only needs to be prepared for a 1 rep max snatch and clean & jerk in competition, you should not be learning techniques for the snatch in a silo. That method is actually a major detriment to elite CrossFitters. You simply need to learn how to leverage all the work you already do in the gym to not only improve your snatch, but so your time spent with the snatch also transfers to the rest of your techniques in the gym. The snatch uses a combination of our jump, squat, and push-up movement pattern, and once you learn how to make that connection and take advantage of that, everything you do gets pushed forward.
