STEP 1: FREE INTRO SESSION!

We have a very unique program at the MovementLink Gym – especially for people who are new to functional fitness training. We’d like to quickly mention our use of barbells as, to a lot of beginners who don’t yet have experience with them, they can seem intimidating. But, to put it plainly, barbells are, by a long-long-long-long-can’t say “long” enough-shot, the most efficient and effective strength training tool ever designed and any workout program not utilizing the elegance and functionality of a barbell is missing out on enormous fitness adaptations, especially when building strength. Not only are they highly effective, but they are also the best instrument for beginners to learn proper technique that transfers to the other styles of free weights we use: kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, etc.. We also use rowers, exercise bikes, rings, foam rollers, and many more pieces of equipment, but if you don’t have any experience using this type of equipment, don’t worry!!! At MovementLink Gym, we are very technique centered and always focus on teaching the foundations to people and how to adjust, customize, and scale exercises according to your fitness level.

We highly recommend all new potential members start with a free intro session. This enables individuals to meet the coaches, check out our training facility, discuss goals, past workout experiences, learn what makes the MovementLink Method so effective, and see why we have the amazing reputation we have. Each session is approximately an hour long, ending with an instructor led workout that will be customized to any fitness level and ability. In fact, the first months are arguably the most wonderful and memorable because you’ll frequently blow past what you though you were capable of and that’s an empowering and great feeling.
